Founded in 1997, Combase has worked with web-based and online systems since the early days of the commercial internet. One of our first major clients was Fuji-Xerox Australia, for whom we developed an early e-commerce platform at a time when web applications were still emerging technologies. From those beginnings, our work evolved into the design and management of large-scale cloud and data systems.
Over time, the growing importance of data protection, governance and operational resilience naturally led Combase further into cybersecurity and assurance. Today, security forms part of everything we do — from cloud architecture and access control through to governance, compliance, risk assessment and operational security reviews.
We have contributed to major national research initiatives and provided specialist expertise to scientists, academics, government departments and commercial organisations. Our clients range from large government agencies, including the Department of Defence, through to specialist private organisations such as Lantern Psychology Centre
